Terms of Service & Legal Notice

By visiting our site and/or purchasing products from Carat Works, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including all additional policies referenced herein.

1. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland (QLD), Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

2. Accuracy of Site Information & Trademark Notice

We endeavor to present accurate product descriptions, millimeter lug dimensions, alloy purities, and pricing. Independent Aftermarket Horological Brand Notice: Carat Works is an independent designer and retailer of aftermarket watch bracelets, link adapters, and jewelry hardware. Carat Works is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Rolex SA, Omega SA, Tudor, Seiko Watch Corporation, Apple Inc., Breitling, or Patek Philippe. Any references to specific timepiece models or case styles (such as "engineered to fit standard 20mm Submariner style lugs" or "compatible with 22mm Seiko diver cases") are made strictly for functional lug fitment specification, spring-bar dimensional context, and technical clarity. Carat Works reserves the right to correct any inadvertent inaccuracies at any time without prior notice.

3. Sizing Tool Usage & Spring Bar Engagement Advisory

Spring Bar Engagement & Drop Warning: Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that spring bars and end-links are completely seated and locked into watch case lug holes before wearing timepieces. Always use an appropriate fine-tip spring bar tool and apply gentle tension to verify locking. Screw-Pin Maintenance Notice: Solid link bracelets assemble using threaded screw-pins; periodically inspect and tighten link screws, or apply low-strength threadlocker to prevent pins from backing out during continuous wear. Carat Works is not liable for dropped or damaged watch cases, scratched watch lugs resulting from tool slips during installation, or lost jewelry caused by improperly fastened spring bars or loose screw-pins.
